I liberally pour the cool wort into a fermetor.

I vigorously splash the wort around by moving the fermentor or using a wisk or some such stirring implement.

I use a device to inject air into my fermentor, such as an aquariam pump or holes in my transfer apparatus.

I have an oxygen tank and infuse oxygen into the cooled wort with an aeration stone/wand.

It was the first time I had tasted Alex's beer. Based on his reputation I was half expecting something resembling blue cheese in a beer glass, but his beers were normal and quite nice.  |
